"I forget" is for if you don't know that information right now. "I forgot" means that the forgetting happened in the past, leaving open the possibility that you might have remembered in the meantime. You could also use the present perfect, "I've forgotten", which means that a past event (forgetting) is continuing to affect the present (you haven't yet remembered).
So - Messenger forced me to create PIN code. I did it,, but I forgot it. I was sure it is possible to reset it somehow, i turned off safe memory option, but nów if I want to turn it on, i need PIN code. And I can't reset it without turning this option on. And I can't turn it on without PIN code. Idk what to do now :|
I forgot would be used if you have failed to remember something on one specific occasion. "I forgot to do my homework" (the act of forgetting occurred in the past) I forget has a more present meaning, and refers to something relevant which cannot be recalled immediately. "I placed my watch in a secure location, but I forget where" (the information cannot presently be remembered)

Thanks for this. I can't believe I forgot my PIN. I'm about to find out how good the backup system is for Samsung. EDIT: Turns out I didn't forget my PIN. (It needed it for the restore and what I thought it was worked. The PIN simply stopped working on the home screen after I remote locked it). Sort of blows.
"Forget" is present tense, "forgot" is past tense. If you say "I forget," you're indicating that you currently don't remember something or that not remembering said thing is an ongoing issue, whereas "I forgot" refers to having not remembered something at a prior time.
i found by cd'ing to the directory running the command op listed sunshine --creds new_username new_password ("new_password/username" should be subbed for whatever you choose). then cmd to close out the sunshine process entirely, and reopening fixed my problem. without closing the process the web portal wouldn't accept my login info. Thank you OP!
