- The hospitality of the host- The neighbourhood is really calm- You are protected from mosquitos here- I found it a lovely way to recover from the jet lag... Windows can be covered. The room is ...
- You have to return your key to the host when you leave- There is no key to enter by yourself. If you come late, you have to wake up the host to access your room :(

We chose it for the Ryokan type facility. Typically, Ryokans are larger than the typical Japanese hotel rooms. This was ample and pleasingly clean. We loved the 711 across the street.
Nothing except we had to bother the owner when coming in at late hours.

Located on a quiet street in a Tokyo suburb, Ryokan Fuji was a wonderful place to stay on the first leg of our trip. It was very comfortable, and the proprietor was extremely kind.
It was a bit far from Tokyo, and the curfew made things a little bit difficult to plan evenings, as we didn’t want to disturb anyone while coming in.
