If a rivalry only happens in the minds of one team, is it really a rivalry? This weekend is supposed to be the official renewal of what is in the minds of Razorbacks fans one of the big rivalries in college football.

At SEC media days in July, Steve Sarkisian inadvertently described a good portion of college football in a single line. "I feel like when you go to Arkansas," the Texas Longhorns coach said, "I almost at times feel like they hate Texas more than they like themselves.

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas hopes history repeats itself in Razorback Stadium on Saturday with No. 3 Texas coming to town. The last time the two teams played was on Sept. 11, 2021, the Razorbacks downed Texas 40-21 leaving fans very pleased with the outcome. Texas (8-1, 4-1) is heavily favored in this game over Arkansas (5-4, 3-3).

No. 3 Texas Longhorns looked unstoppable last weekend against a weakened Florida Gators team in a 49-17 win in Austin. Quinn Ewers looked more confident in a well needed performance going into the final stretch of the regular season where the Longhorns need to win out.
