Ben Gurion International Airport, Israel's main travel hub, was hit Sunday with a Houthi missile that bypassed Israeli and American defense systems.

A missile launched from Yemen by the Iran-backed Houthis struck near Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport on Sunday, briefly grounding flights, halting train service and forcing the closure of access roads covered in debris.

Following the Houthi missile crash at Ben-Gurion Airport due to the failure of Israel's defense systems, several airlines canceled their flights to Israel for 24 hours on Sunday. Germany’s Lufthansa Group announced flight cancellations, including by its subsidiaries Swiss, Brussels Airlines, and others.
