Tottenham have submitted a huge offer to beat Man Utd to Bryan Mbeumo as part of a potential double raid on Brentford and with the star's verdict now clear.

Tottenham could complete a double transfer coup with the permanent signing of Mathys Tel now due and the addition of Brentford striker Bryan Mbeumo.

Tottenham are interested in signing Brentford striker Bryan Mbeumo. Cameroon international Mbeumo scored 20 times for the Bees in the Premier League last season. The 25-year-old's former manager at Brentford, Thomas Frank, was named Spurs boss on Thursday.

According to The Mirror, Spurs have launched a £70million bid to sign the Brentford player this summer - and that's £15million more than United's opening offer. It is claimed that United remains the preferred destination for Mbeumo but this big bid could take the matter out of his hands.

Bryan Mbeumo is the jewel in Brentford's crown and the Bees would be loathe to lose him, but for the right price, they will negotiate a deal. Manchester United are keen on signing the frontman, with a £60million deal mooted.
