The Marion County Sheriff's Office became aware of a "possible pattern of stalking" by Lewis toward Clark in January, according to the affidavit for probable cause.

A Texas man who sent harassing online messages to basketball superstar Caitlin Clark has been sentenced to serve 2.5 years in prison.

Prosecutors said Lewis sent Clark, 23, more than 800 threatening social media messages between Dec. 12, 2024, and Jan. 11, 2025.
