While Connor Stalions and his sign-stealing operation at Michigan took center stage Friday, there was a behind-the-scenes feud bubbling over between Jim Harbaugh and the school’s compliance department in 2023.

The Michigan Wolverines announced that they will appeal the NCAA Committee on Infractions’ ruling related to the Connor Stalions’ advanced scouting case, per ESPN.

Jim Harbaugh "ran a program that was largely dismissive of rules compliance. There was little, if any, emphasis on following the rules," the NCAA said.
