President Donald Trump pitched the idea of the U.S. taking over the Gaza Strip this week in order to turn it into "the Riviera of the Middle East." But on Wednesday night's episode of "The Late Show," host Stephen Colbert had some other name ideas in mind.

Speaking of the two Israeli neighbors, Aaron David Miller, a former US Middle East peace negotiator, said on CNN: “It’s not a real estate deal for them, it’s not even a humanitarian issue for them. It’s an existential issue.”

"The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it too," said Trump, sounding like a real estate developer, saying that under the United States' watchful eye, it could someday become "the Riviera of the Middle East" (after all unexploded munitions are dealt with).
