Minnesota Wild star Kirill Kaprizov needs surgery on the lingering lower body injury he recently returned from and will be sidelined for at least a month.

The Minnesota Wild will face a minimum of four weeks without superstar Kirill Kaprizov after it was determined Tuesday that he requires surgery to repair his lingering lower-body injury. Sources close to Kaprizov said the winger is scheduled to undergo surgery Friday.

Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov, who scored a team-high 23 goals through 37 games this season, will undergo surgery on a lower-body injury and miss at least a month, general manager Bill Guerin announced Tuesday.
