Purdue women's basketball continued rocky stretch with Michigan
Michigan expanded a 34-23 lead with 6:50 in the second quarter with a 14-4 run to end the period and Purdue fell at home 87-60. Freshmen duo Mila Holloway and Olivia Olson carved up Purdue's defense that was continually getting beat in transition. Holloway finished with 21 points and Olson scored 18 points.
Purdue has been overwhelming opponents with its raw size. A lot more has gone into it, but the shock-and-awe quotient associated with the Boilermakers’ parade of massive big men has been a big deal.
