Rutgers lost a handful of regular contributors along its defensive line this offseason. For head coach Greg Schiano, the reinforcements he planned to get along the portal to fill those holes — particularly at defensive tackle — had to meet a certain criteria.

Rutgers football on Wednesday continued to bolster its defensive line production by adding Ohio transfer defensive end Bradley Weaver.

The tight end position was absolutely devasted by injuries this season, so while the room will be healthy again in 2025, it’ll also have a veteran in Charlotte transfer Colin Weber. The 6-foot-4, 261-pound Weber caught 21 passes for 213 yards this past season.
