The wife of an Oklahoma man whose murder conviction and death penalty were thrown out by the Supreme Court says the decision is “an answered prayer.”

Prosecutors’ failure to turn over evidence that might have bolstered Glossip’s defense violated his constitutional right to a fair trial, the justices ruled in a case that produced a rare alliance of his lawyers and the state’s Republican attorney general in support of Glossip.
