If you have a sweet tooth, you should definitely check your pantries and your refrigerators. Thousands of Target’s Favorite Day Frosted Sugar Cookies have been recalled in 20 states and the District of Columbia due to possible wood contamination.

The recall, voluntarily initiated July 22 by Give and Go Prepared Food Corps., applies to Favorite Day Bakery Frosted Sugar Cookies sold in packs of 10 with Lot number 251915. According to the FDA, the reason for the recall was because the cookies could contain pieces of wood.

The notice did not specify whether the affected cookies were distributed to all NY Target stores or just some and, if so, which ones.
