For the first time since the deadly July Fourth flooding in the Texas Hill Country, Kerr County has no flood advisories or rain in the forecast, allowing search crews to continue their work looking for the bodies of 97 missing people.

Kerrville, Texas resident Greg Adkins is expressing thanks to the numerous volunteers who have come to help following the catastrophic floods in central Texas.

The devastation in Texas is still gut-wrenching over a week after catastrophic floods killed more than 130 people. Crews with the search and recovery operation having been working around the clock and say they won’t stop until they find all of the missing victims.
