Trey Hendrickson addressed the state of his relationship with the Bengals after reporting to training camp on Tuesday

In many ways, Trey Hendrickson was the one reason that the Bengals’ defense didn’t fall off a cliff last season. The Bengals have seen numerous key free agents like Jessie Bates walk out the door in recent years, players who were key members of a solid Bengals defense that allowed them to go on multiple deep playoff runs earlier this decade.

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson ended his holdout on Wednesday, reporting to the team and inevitably giving a media interview after practice. Hendrickson’s interview was quite a bit more positive than his last media session earlier this offseason, where he showed up and gave a 20-minute interview, then dipped.
