White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt doubled down on Republicans’ criticism of the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office’s scoring of the president’s tax and immigration bill, claiming that the independent agency — which warned that millions could lose health-care access if the measure is signed into law — has been “historically wrong.”

Elon Musk had toyed with the idea of backing another party - including a third party - in the wake of his falling out with President Donald Trump.

Trump declined to say what those consequences would be, and went on to add that he had not had discussions about whether to investigate Musk.
