The former Clemson cornerback has been a stud as a rookie and scored his first NFL touchdown, returning a Bailey Zappe interception 26 yards for a touchdown.

Bailey Zappe did not get the warm welcome he was hoping for in Week 18. Making a start for the wailing Cleveland Browns against the Baltimore Ravens, Zappe threw an interception on his second pass attempt of the game to rookie cornerback Nate Wiggins.

The Cleveland Browns entered their Week 18 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens as massive underdogs, and the spread has gotten even wider since it was reported that Bailey Zappe would be starting at quarterback.

Cleveland is 3-13 heading into Week 18 after a 20-3 loss to the Dolphins in Week 17, while the Ravens are 11-5 and lead the AFC North heading into Week 18. On Tuesday, Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said he’s considering playing both Bailey Zappe and Dorian Thompson-Robinson as quarterbacks.

In his first Browns start in Baltimore, Zappe threw an ugly pick-6 in the first quarter right into the hands of Ravens cornerback Nate Wiggins. Wiggins had a clear lane to catch the ball and ran it right into the end zone for Baltimore’s first touchdown of the game.
