Sony Pictures is in talks with Netflix to create an animated sequel to KPop Demon Hunters, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter. The original film became a cultural phenomenon, and the deal comes as the fantasy musical climbs to the top of Netflix’s most-watched English-language films of all time.

In just two days, Netflix’s “KPop Demon Hunters” sing-along surged to the No. 1 spot at the domestic box office, reportedly selling out more than 1,000 screens as fans seized the one-weekend opportunity.
