Prescott wasn’t starting at quarterback in the second preseason game of the summer. That designation went to Joe Milton, whom the Cowboys are still determining if he can become Prescott’s backup. Maybe Prescott should have gotten a few snaps because the early indications were he doesn’t have a backup.

Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer said this week that he wants to find out what the team has in quarterback Joe Milton and another data point in that investigation will come against the Ravens on Saturday.
