Legendary golfer Johnny Miller held up Bryson DeChambeau as an example of what not to do at Oakmont Country Club during the US Open.
DeChambeau followed what his fellow SMU alum, the late Payne Stewart, accomplished 25 years earlier by winning the U.S. Open at Pinehurst. He is looking for his third U.S. Open title. After going even on the front nine, DeChambeau went 3-over on the back.
Oakmont got the best of many of the world's best players this week, with Bryson DeChambeau, Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson among the notables to miss the cut.
