According to rumors, Elon Musk is interested in acquiring Intel. It is also said that Qualcomm and Global Foundries are somehow involved in the deal.

Shares of Intel were up more than 2% Tuesday afternoon, extending Friday gains that were powered in part by deal-related rumors.

Citi trimmed its price target on Intel stock this morning, while HSBC upgraded the stock. Both banks believe Intel stock is overpriced today, yet curiously advise investors to hold the stock anyway. This is bad advice.
