Matthew Boyd pitched six innings of one-hit, one-run ball and Dansby Swanson hit a tiebreaking home run in the Chicago Cubs’ 2-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday.

Swanson connected against Ryan Borucki (1-3) with two out in the sixth inning, giving Chicago a 2-1 lead with a solo drive into the bleachers in left-center.

The Cubs played 13 games decided by one run among their first 65 — one of every five. They have played four in their last six, including each of the last three.
