Lawyers for Blake Lively have issued a new statement in support of the actress amid her ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni.

The libel lawsuit accuses the Times of relying "almost entirely" on what it describes as "Lively's unverified and self-serving narrative."

Justin Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman appeared on an episode of “The Megyn Kelly Show” where the former Fox News host played an alleged voice message Baldoni sent to his team in which he claims he was “sent to the basement” during the “It Ends With Us” premiere because Lively allegedly did not want him anywhere

"The Times story relied almost entirely on Lively's unverified and self-serving narrative," claims the lawsuit

She says the paper never contacted her before publishing a story that tied her to a smear campaign against the actress.
