The Council on American-Islamic Relations–Greater Los Angeles Area (CAIR-LA) condemned the largest single-day immigration enforcement action in California history, which resulted in the death of a farmworker and the mass detention of about 200 people,

Protesters blocked the roads in and out of one of the farms, and at one point federal agents drove their vehicles through the fields.

Tensions in Ventura County escalated between protesters and U.S. Border Patrol agents near a farm in Camarillo Thursday afternoon. Border patrol agents were seen standing in a skirmish line blocking a group of protesters from getting to the other side near Laguna Road.
