Casey DeSmith stopped 27 shots to lead the Dallas Stars to their sixth straight win, 4-1 over the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday night.

Kent Johnson and Kirill Marchenko scored in the shootout as the Columbus Blue Jackets rallied to defeat the Philadelphia Flyers 3-2 on Tuesday night.

PHILADELPHIA -- The Dallas Stars won their sixth straight game, 4-1 against the Philadelphia Flyers at Wells Fargo Center on Thursday. Mavrik Bourque, Roope Hintz, Wyatt Johnston and Miro Heiskanen scored for Dallas (26-13-1), which also won its fourth straight on the road. Jason Robertson had two assists, and Casey DeSmith made 27 saves.

This matchup heavily favours the Stars as they've won seven of their last eight games against the Flyers with two or fewer goals allowed in six of the matchups. In the past two matchups, Philadelphia has started to figure out the Dallas defence with nine goals scored.

The Stars have won five straight and are coming off a comeback, overtime victory against the New York Rangers.
