Jalen Brunson scored 44 points despite missing part of the third quarter with an apparent injury, and the New York Knicks beat the Milwaukee Bucks 140-106 on Sunday.

During the Knicks 124-119 loss to the Detroit Pistons on Monday, Brunson passed two former Knicks guards on the franchise leaderboard. Brunson nearly sat out Monday's contest due to shoulder soreness. Instead, Brunson excelled in the second game of a back-to-back schedule. The Knicks point guard scored 31 points and dished 11 assists in 39 minutes.
