The Atlanta Braves are finally making moves, with Jurickson Profar now slated to roam the outfield alongside Ronald Acuña Jr. and Michael Harris II.

Profar, a switch-hitter, began lifting his front leg higher at the start of his swing. He said advice from former major leaguer Fernando Tatis and work with San Diego outfielder Fernando Tatis Jr. last offseason helped convince him to make the change, which added power to his swing.

In the first (and only) significant move of the offseason, the Braves signed Jurickson Profar to a three-year, $42 million contract. It filled the single biggest hole on Atlanta’s roster.

The Atlanta Braves general manager Alex Anthopoulos indicated to reporters what his next move could be this offseason.

Jurickson Profar signed a 3-year, $42 million deal with the Braves. This doesn't bother me because I don't believe his arm is adequate for right field, his defense isn't good enough for centerfield, and he has a career 99 wRC+ and it's best not to buy into his career year he just had at the age of 31.
