A Little House on the Prairie reboot is coming to Netflix. The streamer announced on Wednesday, Jan. 29 that it has greenlit a "reimagining" of the beloved '70s show, which is loosely based on the bestselling books series by Laura Ingalls Wilder.

Sonnenshine is the executive producer and showrunner of the new Little House on the Prairie reboot at Netflix. Per IMDb, among her producing credits are Bunny (2000), Reversion (2008), The Vampire Diaries, Outcast, The Crossing, Archive 81 and The Boys.

It's time to head back to Walnut Grove 42 years later! According to a newly released Deadline article, Netflix has ordered a reboot of the beloved 1970s family drama Little House on the Prairie. This comes after the initial reboot announcement made by Paramount TV Studios and Anonymous Content in 2020.
