Jimmy Butler appears poised to make his return to the court after serving a seven-game suspension imposed by the Miami Heat. The star forward has dropped a hint, suggesting a potential NBA comeback is on the horizon.
Butler was said to be “caught off guard” by the comments according to Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald. There have been many events that have led to the fractured relationship between Butler and the Heat with the one mentioned by Haynes being when the team questioned the effort level.
According to All U Can Heat’s Jack Simone, the Heat could include Butler in a multi-team trade with the 76ers and Pistons. The Heat would receive Paul George, the 76ers would receive Butler, and the Pistons would receive Josh Richardson.
