Filip Forsberg's 300th career goal tied the game late in regulation, and the Nashville Predators went on to beat the visiting Chicago Blackhawks 3-2 in a shootout Thursday night.

Forsberg scored on a slap shot from the right circle on the rush that beat Arvid Soderblom on the blocker side to tie the game 2-2. The goal was Forsberg's 300th in the NHL and extended his goal streak to four games.

It has been a while since the Central Divison rivals the Chicago Blackhawks and Nashville Predators faced off. They last met in October when the Blackhawks lost 3-2 at home.
