According to The Athletic's Dianna Russinni, the asking price for the two-time Pro Bowl target has been lowered. Seattle is open to a return centered around a second-round pick and a Day 3 selection to move Metcalf off the roster.
The Seahawks have reportedly decreased their asking price for WR DK Metcalf to a second-round pick per The Athletic's Dianna Russini.
Russini reported that the Seahawks were seeking a first- and a third-round pick in exchange for Metcalf, an admittedly high price to pay for an aging wideout. For reference, that’s roughly what the Eagles gave up for A.J. Brown in 2022. Metcalf is also reportedly seeking a contract extension worth around $30 million per season.
The Seattle Seahawks have already dropped their asking price on a trade for superstar wide receiver DK Metcalf. Metcalf, who requested a trade out of Seattle, wants a new contract and to play in warm weather, according to Dianna Russini of the Athletic.
