Capitals goalie Logan Thompson spoke out after signing a massive six-year contract extension on Monday afternoon.

The Washington Capitals have re-signed goaltender Logan Thompson to a six-year, $35.1million contract extension, senior vice president and general manager Chris Patrick announced today. Thompson’s contract will carry an average annual value of $5.85 million.
