The New York Jets have agreed to bring on former NFL head coach Steve Wilks as the team’s defensive coordinator under coach Aaron Glenn, according to a league source. The 55-year-old brings extensive coaching experience at the NFL level dating back to 2006.

Yet another Lions assistant coach is leaving for another team in 2025. The latest such coach is tight ends coach Steve Heiden. According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Heiden is joining Aaron Glenn in New York as the new offensive line coach for the Jets.
