Things have been quiet on the Cleveland Browns front at the start of NFL free agency, as expected, the team looks to reset in the post-Deshaun Watson world.

The Cleveland Browns have traded for one player and signed three others throughout the legal tampering/free agency period in 2025, and the team still wants to add another established vet to the quarterback room after trading for Kenny Pickett.

Though the signing was reported as a two-year agreement, the Browns often use void deals to backload contracts and spread out cap hits. The team entered the week with about $13 million in available cap space, but Myles Garrett’s agreed-upon mega-extension had not yet been officially processed as of Wednesday afternoon.
