Avalanche signs Josh Manson to two-year contract extension, keeping defenseman in Colorado through 2027-28
Colorado signed defenseman Josh Manson to a two-year contract extension through the 2027-28 season, the team announced on Thursday. The extension is tacked on top of the final year of his previous four-year contract, as Manson is due to make $4.5 million in 2025-26 as part of that original deal, according to Spotrac.

Since his Avalanche debut on March 15, 2022, Manson has collected 57 points (13g/44a) over 173 regular-season showings. He’s thrown 443 hits with the club to pace the team since then.
