Hyatt to cease management of Waterfront Hotel in Oakland
OAKLAND, Calif. - Hyatt will cease managing the Waterfront Hotel in Oakland, putting the future of the Jack London Square lodge in jeopardy. In a Jan. 17 letter to staff that was shared with KTVU, Waterfront Hotel General Manager James Dinnall wrote that Hyatt made the decision due to "financial issues with the current owner."
