Netflix has renewed Untamed for season 2, breaking a rule about how it picks up shows, but it's done this a few times now.

Netflix has renewed “Untamed” for Season 2, Variety has learned exclusively. Originally announced as a limited series, the drama set within Yosemite National Park premiered to strong ratings and critical acclaim when it launched on July 17,

Despite previously saying he had declined to come back for the Marvel series, Renner is now "sure" its second installment will happen.

"My body's getting ready for something like that," the Oscar nominee said of the physical demands that come with portraying Clint Barton/Hawkeye.

"I love all those guys, I love the character." Hawkeye got his main character treatment in 2021, when Disney+ launched a series starring Renner and Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, his partner in (stopping) crime.
