Solo Ball scored a career-high 23 points, including a key 3-pointer in overtime, to help the UConn men stave off an upset bid by Butler Tuesday in Hartford.

"Don't turn your back on me. I'm the best coach in the (expletive) sport," he yelled during a timeout. Hurley, the two-time defending champion coach, is famous for his sideline antics. He literally jumped to exhort fans during first-half action. The Bulldogs gave the Huskies and Hurley all they could handle. UConn won 80-78 in overtime.
