Black Ops 6 & Warzone Season 3 – release date, Verdansk, and multiplayer maps - A reliable Call of Duty leaker claims the upcoming update will be the game’s biggest yet

Activision has officially announced the date that Verdansk will return to Call of Duty: Warzone. It’s long been known that Verdansk, which was the original map in Warzone, would be making a return at some point, with Activision announcing back in August 2024 that it planned to bring the map back in Spring 2025.

The official CoD Twitter/X account delivered the disappointing news that season three of Black Ops 6 will now begin on April 3, and not the original assumed start date of March 20, as in-game countdown timers have alluded to in season two.

Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 3 is scheduled to arrive on April 3, after Activision pushed the update back two weeks from its original launch date of March 20. The in-game Battle Pass timer has been revised to reflect the change. Conversely, players have two extra weeks to grind out any season two rewards they’ve yet to unlock.

Verdansk is coming back to Call of Duty Warzone, but fans want more than just the map; they want all the old mechanics to return, too. The original Warzone map, Verdansk, will be live again on April 3,

Warzone players can go back to where it started with the release of the Verdansk map confirmed to be coming in Season 3.
