With the season now over, Cosmi spoke to Washington media about the season that was with a smile on his face and shared an update on his recovery, revealing he's scheduled to have surgery Tuesday morning.

The Commanders will play in their first NFC championship since the 1991 season next Sunday. They'll do so without one of their best offensive linemen.

While Sam Cosmi and Byron Young are out, both the Eagles and Commanders are in relatively good shape as Sunday approaches.
