With a bandage over his left eye, Kessler Edwards returned from the locker room and headed to the scorer's table to check back into Sunday afternoon's game for the Dallas Mavericks with 6:05 remaining in the fourth quarter.

The Dallas Mavericks just can't seem to catch a break. During their 125-116 loss to the Phoenix Suns, the already-depleted Mavericks lost two more stars, as Kessler Edwards and Dwight Powell collided with each other pretty hard and had to be taken out of the game.

In the second half of the Mavericks-Suns game, power forward Dwight Powell went to the locker room after colliding with Kessler Edwards when both players went for a loose ball. His injury is the sixth to the Dallas frontcourt as Dallas came into the game missing Anthony Davis,
