Novo Nordisk agreed to cap insulin prices to settle a lawsuit in which Minnesota's attorney general accused the three largest insulin makers of charging astronomically high prices for the diabetes drug.

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison says his office has reached a settlement with Novo Nordisk over high insulin costs.

The settlement means all Minnesotans can purchase insulin from the three biggest insulin manufacturers for just $35 per month.
