New Mets center fielder Cedric Mullins spoke with the media before Friday's series opener against the Giants and talked about the trade deadline and his fit with his new team.

Mullins arrived Friday about 2 1/2 hours before first pitch and was activated on the roster but not inserted into the starting lineup.
