We are giving you the FIRST ALERT to an overall nice first half of the Memorial Day Weekend. Welcome to the weekend, and oh my goodness was it nice! We had plenty of sunshine with highs in the mid to upper 60s courtesy of a nice, northwest wind.

Clouds will thicken overnight, leading to another chance for rain and storms into the overnight period into early Saturday. A few storms could be gusty, at times, as lows fall back into the 60s. WEEKEND PLANNER: Rain chances will turn forward facing through the course of the weekend but will not be constant.

Memorial Day also brings the threat of showers & storms during the PM hours. So, any morning events or memorial services shouldn’t be impacted by rain. Regardless, stay tuned for updates. The rest of next week brings unsettled weather with rain chances each day. So, an umbrella is a must-have through the end of next week.
