The forecast this week, with students on spring break, couldn't be much better. But as temperatures rise, a few spots could face strong storms.

Showers and storms are very likely Tuesday morning and a few could be severe in East Texas and Louisiana. It's possible that we could have a brief heavy storm, but fortunately our round of rain should be brief - lasting from around 7 a.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued until 11 p.m. Wednesday for the following counties in the FOX 26 viewing area: Grimes, Polk, San Jacinto, and Walker.
