The National Weather Service in State College has issued a new winter weather advisory for Somerset County this weekend, as several inches of new snow is expected during the advisory period, from 7 p.m. Friday through 1 a.m. Sunday.

On Thursday at 1:25 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory valid from Friday 7 p.m. until Sunday 1 a.m. for Somerset County.
