There are a few instances where the 45 changer adapters work on other machines. In this case, the Garrard F45, about half of them don't even work on their own machine! They actually have to fit sort of loosely on the spindle to work properly since the spindle itself detects the presence of records to be played. I don't know if it's a manufacturing defect or if maybe they have shrunk slightly with age. These can be had for good prices and are plentiful, but the ones that fit too firmly are useles
