When framing our walls on our buildings, we use Ohio Timberland 3-ply glue-lam columns. I also order them with the top 4’ of the center ply loose... this allows me to cut that block the exact height for our truss pocket on our side walls as well as completely remove it and add an extension for our endwall columns so we have full column all the way to our top chord.
